For our Spring 2009 concert we did not have any guests, but we had a great concert!  On June 6th, we sang for the volunteers at a "Volunteer Appreciation Tea" which was held in their honour at the Ridge Meadows Hospital.

The first Christmas Concert on December 6th, 2008 at the Maple Ridge Senior Centre was a great success.  Our guest at the concert was the very accomplished Soundwave Handbell Choir who rang six songs to the audience (and our choir members!) during the intermission.  At the second concert on December 7th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, we welcomed the St. Patrick's School Children's Choir.  They were great and sang seven Christmas songs for the enjoyment of our audience and ourselves.  At both concerts we were very pleased to welcome Brenda Grunau who played the oboe in accompaniment to Bring a Torch and Silent Night.

Once again in December 2008, we joined the Maple Ridge Hospice Society in St. George's Church to sing in the A Time to Remember service.  This annual service was a very well attended gathering with approximately one hundred and fifty people taking the time to remember their loved ones who had past away in 2008 or earlier.  We listened to some beautiful poems, and most of those gathered lit tea lights and placed them on the altar.  Our choir sang four songs of comfort to the congregation and we all enjoyed tea, coffee and snacks together after the service.

For the May 10th, 2008 Concert at the Maple Ridge Senior Centre, we were honoured to have the Stave Falls Scottish Dancers as our guest.  The Dancers performed following the intermission and were a great hit with both the audience and the choir!

On January 5th, 2008 we sang a "Ukrainian Christmas" to guests at the Senior Centre in Maple Ridge.

"The Spirit of Christmas" was the theme for our concert at Christmas 2007 and St. Patrick's Millennium Choir joined us to sing carols and seasonal music in St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Lisa Neilson, Flutist, played accompaniment at the Spirit of Christmas concert and a full house was proof that the community thoroughly enjoyed Lisa and both choirs!

At Christmastime '07 we also sang in "A Time to Remember".  This is a service provided by the Maple Ridge Hospice Society for those who have lost a loved one or friend.

November 27th, 2007 was the date we joined the Maple Ridge Concert Band to give a performance at the ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge.  The combination of the Concert Band and our choral music was outstanding.
