The Maple Ridge Choral Society launched its 2019 fall season on September 3 at St. Paul’s Church, 12145 Laity Street, Maple Ridge.
Sign-ups are now being taken for the spring 2020 season, which begins in January.
Anyone age 17 or over who is interested in joining the choir is welcome to attend the first rehearsal and take part.
Choral Society dues for 2019-2020 are $125.00, or $100.00 for seniors over age 65, plus a $5.00 annual membership fee and a $10.00 music fee. There is a special student rate of $50.00 for full-time students in a provincial recognized program of study.
For the half year from January through May, the dues are $70.00 for regular members; $55.00 for seniors and $30.00 for full-time students. The membership fee of $5.00 and the music fee of $10.00 also apply.
If you would like to hear the choir perform, our 2019 Christmas concert is scheduled for Sunday, December 8 at the Christian Reformed Church in Maple Ridge. Start time is 3:00 p.m. and tickets are $15.00 at the door.
